Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Established in 2001, our department has steadily grown into a center of academic excellence, technological innovation, and industry-oriented education.<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n

We always strive to make our students well rounded personalities with each being provided individual care and attention to produce not only technical prowess but above all good human beings who make a positive difference in society. To this end we foster an atmosphere of openness and honesty where latest technologies and ideas are readily accepted and shared among the technical fraternity at the institute.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure technical relevance  we emphasize strong collaborative ties with prominent organizations , which provide our students with valuable exposure through internships, industrial training, new courses and joint initiatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department actively nurtures a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging students to develop ideas, engage in projects and launch their own startups.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our graduates continue to excel, with the current placement season 2025  witnessing a good placement rate, reflecting our commitment to preparing students for rewarding careers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
